Azerbaijan creates new national ICT standards

This, as Trend was told in the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan on Tuesday, became known during the regular meeting of the technical committee (TK-05) on standardization of information and communication technologies.
At the meeting, it was noted that the work done in accordance with the action plan for 2022, and the issues to be resolved in 2023, in particular, the preparation of new national standards, is very important from the point of view of the further development of the country's ICT sector.
Also, it was reported that in 2022 three meetings of the technical committee were held, seven national standards in the field of ICT were prepared, and a revision of the other seven standards previously adopted in accordance with the current legislation was carried out.
"Standardization determines the basis of not only current, but also future development, and is constantly developing in connection with scientific and technological progress. The dynamic development of the ICT sector requires the creation of national standards both in Azerbaijan and in other countries of the world," the meeting noted .
